Jungle night
Last night was alive. I slipped into bed with the kids upstairs around 3:00a amongts the strange shadows, and the howling, scratching, pecking and clawing noises that fill up the night.
Imagination runs high at thoses hours, and true enough, I was unable to explain most of what we heard.
If it wasn’t for the nightly dogs howling cascade, we would have slept throught. It’s as if all the dogs join up vocally in a creepy concerto every night, and yersterday’s was stronger than usual.
Light has taken over now and we’re off to breakfast.
